Naana B., a former sculptor and painter, is a Ghanaian designer currently based in New York City. Her distinct African-inspired designs feature beautiful, brightly colored ruffles. Jackets and snake-skin leather clutches are also apart of her collection.
The designer is also a philanthropist! All of her items are handmade by Ghanaian artisans who received training from a nonprofit based in Ghana called the Rural Communities Empowerment Center (RCEC). Through this organization, these gifted women receive an opportunity to use their skills to improve their economic status and become self-sufficient while receiving mentoring and business support.
